Watermelon Smash- June 28th

Inspired by the Japanese summer tradition of Suikawari, families will gather to celebrate summer with a Watermelon Smash. Additionally, invitations to engage and connect during fresh lemonade making/ sensory play, nature-based play and open-ended creativity.

Tea & Potions - July 12th

Create magical teas and nature-inspired potions using butterfly pea flower tea, herbs, flowers, and natural materials. Children will explore color-changing reactions, sensory experiences, imaginative play, creativity, and connection through hands-on exploration.

Web Weavers & Bug Hotel Builders- July 26th 

Inspired by the incredible architecture of spider webs and insect habitats, children will be invited to create a giant community web, build bug hotels using natural materials, explore local ecosystems, and engage in sensory-rich nature play.

Ocean Explorers: South Florida's Coast- August 9th

Children will investigate the plants, animals, and habitats that make South Florida unique through sensory exploration, habitat building and creative play. Inspired by our local beaches, coral reefs, mangroves, and marine life.

Fossil Hunters & Nature Detectives- August 23rd

Dig, discover, and investigate as we explore fossils and dinosaurs. Through excavation, fossil-inspired art, and sensory-rich exploration, children will uncover clues from the past while engaging in creativity, problem solving, and hands-on discovery.

Primary Schemas: Deconstructing, Positioning, Orientation & Perspective, and Transforming.

Campout in the Arboretum- September 13th

Welcome the transition from summer to fall with a morning of nature play, storytelling, and discovery. Children are invited to build campsites and woodland hideaways, gather around a pretend campfire, and explore the magic of the natural world through imagination, storytelling and shared experiences.
